"Discovering Place" Workshop

I am thrilled to announce that I will be offering my first astrological workshop, “Discovering Place: A Journey Through The Twelve Houses.” In natal chart readings, I will often bring a client through the houses before we begin delineation to establish a baseline of understanding of the language that will be utilized- it’s a part of the reading that I love, and I’ve decided to try stretching it out into an hour long workshop.

Understanding houses/places in the natal chart is a quintessential layer of natal astrological synthesis when it comes to examining and interpreting both your own chart and the charts of others. In this one hour workshop, you will be taken on a guided tour of the significations of the houses- both modern and traditional. We will explore the merits of thinking of the places in relation to one another and work with other allegorical mnemonics which can help you deepen your understanding of the terrain of each of the twelve places. You will be provided with prompts to consider with regard to understanding the function of the houses in your own chart- you will also walk away with a recording of the workshop and visual resources on house significations.

This workshop is primarily intended for those looking to build or establish a foundation of understanding of the houses, but all levels of astrological knowledge are welcome.

No prior knowledge of the houses needed, though the following prerequisites are recommended: basic knowledge of the structure of astrology and meanings of the seven traditional heavenly bodies (Sun, Moon, Venus, Mercury, Saturn, Jupiter, Mars), understanding of the basic significations of the twelve zodiacal signs, and knowledge of your own natal placements.

This is a virtual workshop- it will take place via zoom on Saturday, March 17th, 2023 at 7PM EST. There will be only ten spots available. To register, simply respond to this email expressing your interest. If you would like to put forth a donation in exchange for the time and energy put into this offering, you may do so by Venmo (sevphillips777)- however, donations are not required to participate as I am considering this to be a kind of beta test for this offering!
